Learn
This chapter is designed to help you understand and put in place the control procedures needed for your own Food Safety Management System.
You will learn how to complete the different controls using the downloadable forms and Help Guides provided.
The Food Hygiene Regulations Act 2006 states that the control procedures, detailed in this remaining phase of the product must be implemented and documented on an ongoing basis.
The control procedures fit under a number of key headings that are crucial to a safe functioning FSMS. With each control necessary you will see that there are a number of templates or forms provided for easy download at each appropriate 'explore' tab. These forms have been designed so that you can easily incorporate them into your business to form your FSMS.
Please watch the video and pay special attention as Stephen from the Magna is going to take us through basic good practise in dealing with deliveries. Pay particular attention to the process he uses to temperature check and document deliveries.
We are going to consider two things here; the assessment of suppliers you use and deliveries, including the checklists you use to monitor deliveries from these suppliers. All the forms you need to assess suppliers and monitor deliveries are coming up next in the explore tab.
Now move on to the explore tab at the top of the page.
